Why potatoes?
A. There was a PDF training emailed on July 2, 2024, that was discussing "Raters Do's and Don'ts" and used a Jason mask to represent a rater. QA quickly pulled this PDF to remove this mask, but left the jab that raters who do anything else while working are rotten. Potatoes also go rotten, so there was a running joke in the Tavern about their utility as sexual aides. Don't judge, they're naturally delicious both before and after use.
How can I easily access all of the historical Factuality and Severity TRP?
A. We all miss the old portal where you could easily access previous feedbacks without the frustration of having to put in dates. We've created monthly graphs and a historical lookback to all of the TRP we've received for Factuality historical and Severity historical. And unlike our employer, we promise never to delete this.
How do I keep track of my time?
A. This is an easy thing, just follow the AET range using the upper number only. And anyone who says they keep track of their time with a clock, silently smack them, unless you want to lose your job too. Reddit has a great thread about this issue.
Why do I see WellBee everywhere on your site?
A. Because we care about your well-being.

Why do people not scroll up?
A. When you visit any of the Discord chats or Reddit chats, you will see the same questions asked over and over. Maybe you can relate.

2 minutes later.

Being lazy is not a good look or maybe everyone thinks they're "special," and it's beneath them to scroll. I don't care how busy you are, if you've taken the time to visit a chat, then you have the time to scroll up. Remember, we are not your AI or Google, and not responsible for your morning update, afternoon update, if the sky is blue or if we breathe air. So please be a responsible rater and scroll the fuck up, it won't hurt, I promise. You might actually learn something... gasp!
Exciting Update: Your New AI Community Portal is Here!
On June 10th, we received an email entitled "TELUS Digital Exciting Update: Your New AI Community Portal is Here." And just as you would expect, it was a spectacular disaster. There is nothing of value there, unless you consider links to Indian guidelines to be of interest. We have also lost access to the "additional information" for our feedback. I guess they really don't want us to learn anything. We were told explicitly that the Geoworkerz portal wouldn't be taken down until June 18th, so much for being able to trust our employer.
This page looked a lot different. What happened?
A. We planned on bringing this site to the attention of the Tavern Discord when it was more complete. So it was unfortunate that it was leaked and resulted in a group of people with no association to this page, getting banned. However, we do want to give a shout-out to the Tavern because we did get a nice influx of visitors. A gold star for all of you!
Unfortunately, though, these same malcontents, who see racism in a jeans ad and cheer when innocent people are murdered or when shitty housewives try to run over law enforcement officers because "no one's above the law" unless they're driving an SUV-- took issue with our use of the word "Retard." This is despite the same type of crude humour used daily in the primary discussion channel. We weren't consulted about what we were doing and now we know to keep our mouths shut. We're still watching you, though. We're the people silently observing in the shadows, laughing as you clench and clench, but can't keep in your hatred and brutality. We know the day is coming when the pendulum swings back and nature heals. Our goal is to help the broadest range of raters, we've taken measures to remove most of it; so when those retarded fucking Nazis use their porn VPNs to load our site, their unevolved smooth brains don't melt.
These subset of humans with no ability to create anything themselves, can only feel great envy and entitlement at anyone who does. You see it again and again where these parasites contribute nothing, but immediately try to destroy anything from successful people, such as Elon Musk.
Our apologies to the poor souls booted from the inclusive and welcoming Discord for the mere accusation of association with this website. There's always been a group of people keen on burning women, lynching people of color, and stoning LGBTQ+ folx to death for the entertainment of their inner demon. The only bright side is they're contained in a virtual server and not busy narcing out their kin to ICE.
What if I'm offended by your site, how can I contact you?
A. Does us spending our personal time to create an informational resource to help raters, with a touch of humour, put an undue burden on you, triggering you? Well, let us unburden you. Some might say you should pull that stick out of your ass, but we don't kink shame around here. Instead, we'd like to humbly suggest you stop being so smug and self-righteous and stop taking things so seriously. We can also be contacted here.

A. Apparently, many people are woefully ignorant of the fact that you're absolutely allowed to discuss work, despite there being an entire federal law explicitly mandating that workers can discuss both wages and "essential work items." Please educate yourself about the National Labor Relations Act. As a Telus employee, you are free to email or make a report to www.telus.ethicspoint.com and complain about the bullshit treatment or even easier, just CC ethics while you're already e-mailing the black hole that is quality support. The process in other countries may vary.
